NYS is fortunate to have a governor and administration

NYS is fortunate to have a governor and administration who have demonstrated some commitment to protecting the health of NYS residents and the environment that we share. The draft SGEIS process , began during the previous administration needs to be expanded to fully account for the adverse impacts of hydrofracking, and recent news stories about the deceptive practices and exaggerated financial predictions of the gas industry make it very clear who will be left holding the bag if large scale hydrofracking sweeps through rural NY without much more consideration of its impacts.
