Dear Ms. Enck:
It has recently come to my attention that, in addition to the many known dangers associated with hydrofracking, there is now another cause for concern, namely, radioactive wastewater that cannot be treated adequately but is nevertheless finding its way into our rivers.
I beg you as the EPA Regional Administrator to lend your voice in opposition to granting any permits for gas drilling in the Marcellus Shale until the issue of wastewater management has been addressed and resolved. Please protect our land, water and air from contamination and degradation.
