Greetings Fractivists,
I am pleased to report that Governor Cuomo is reportedly taking a brutal hammering for issuing a critical permit required for a proposed "virtual pipeline" compressed natural gas truck transfer facility to be built in Fenton, NY. This project could perpetuate New York's addiction to fracked gas for many years to come, but it is currently held up by a legal challenge.
Many thanks to Bob Joseph at WNBF for inviting me to speak to him today about this matter on "Binghamton Now." Bob's show is the preeminent Southern Tier media forum on public policy and political discourse.

Opposition is growing literally day by day to this proposed project. Even local State Senator Akshar now opposes the proposed project site.
I implore all Fractivists to take maximum action to kill this proposed project while a court-imposed Temporary Restraining Order prevents it from going forward. That TRO could be lifted any day.
Call Governor Cuomo during business hours at 518 474 8390. Tell him he is a climate change hypocrite if he does not REVOKE the Stormwater SPDES (State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) General Permit for Construction Activities granted for the natural gas transporation project. The "virtual pipeline" cannot proceed without this permit.
Tell the Governor to adopt a moratorium on all fossil fuel infrastructure project approvals.
Ask to speak directly to the Governor if you dare take on a consummate political pro. Request a call back if you know what you are talking about.
If appropriate, tell the switchboard operator that you are a property owner, a veteran, a local school teacher in one of the schools near the proposed compressed gas facility, a taxpayer, a political contributor, a loyal Dem, etc.
