The following maps illustrate areas on and around the former City of Ithaca Dump where the New York Department of Environmental Conservation and the City of Ithaca have identified toxic contamination exceeding applicable groundwater, soil or sediment clean up standards.
The DEC monitoring results used to generate the first map are presented in the Supplemental Investigation Report Southwest Park Area, City of Ithaca, Tompkins County, 11/1/2000.
The City of Ithaca monitoring results used to generate the second map are presented in an Environmental Site Assessment, Former Dump Site, Southwest Area, City of Ithaca, New York, June 1999.
You can obtain detailed information for 16 toxic site categories on or around any property in Tompkins County or elsewhere in New York State. Each report costs $150.00.
